COACHING FOR INDIVIDUALS

Space to think. Time to choose. Support to change.

Most people don’t need more advice.

They need space.

Space to slow down.
Space to think clearly.
Space to notice what’s driving their choices and behaviour.

Coaching offers that space.

At Make It Stick, individual coaching supports people to work more intentionally, especially during periods of growth, transition or change.

WHAT WE MEAN BY 'COACHING'

Coaching supports people to make conscious choices about how they lead, work and show up, especially during periods of change.

It isn’t about giving advice, fixing or telling people what to do. Instead, coaching is about creating the space to:

  • slow down and think clearly

  • surface what’s really driving behaviour

  • experiment with new ways of working

  • build habits that support sustainable performance

It’s reflective, practical and rooted in real work, rather than abstract theory.

WHAT PEOPLE OFTEN BRING TO COACHING

People come to coaching for lots of reasons, including:

  • they’re navigating change, growth or transition

  • they want to shift habits or ways of working that no longer serve them

  • insight is there, but behaviour hasn’t caught up yet

  • pressure keeps pulling them back into old patterns

  • they want time to think clearly and act more deliberately

You don’t need a crisis to benefit from coaching, just a willingness to reflect and experiment.

HOW COACHING SUPPORTS BEHAVIOUR CHANGE

WITHOUT COACHING

Knowing what you want to change isn’t usually the problem.

The challenge is sustaining new behaviours when work is busy, expectations are high and old habits are familiar.

WITH COACHING

Through regular reflective conversations, coaching supports you to:

  • reflect on what's happening beneath the surface

  • choose responses rather than react on autopilot

  • get clear on what really matters

  • experiment and practise new behaviours in everyday situations

  • stay honest about what's working - and what isn't

  • build confidence and momentum over time

In short, it can help you to practise change, not just talk about it.

Go beneath the surface

Practise new behaviours

Choose your response

Know what matters

Stay honest about what's working

Build confidence and momentum

WHAT COACHING WITH ME LOOKS LIKE

My approach to coaching is:

  • practical, not abstract

  • reflective, but grounded in action

  • supportive, without being directive

  • focused on behaviour, not just insight

We work with what’s happening in your real work and life — not hypothetical scenarios.

Coaching is shaped around your pace, context and goals, and evolves as things change.
