Hey there! I’m Charlotte — a multi-award-winning learning and transformation consultant, coach and founder of Make It Stick.

I work with organisations and individuals who are trying to work out what needs to change — and who want that change to show up in how people actually work.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve designed and led learning, engagement and transformation work across a wide range of contexts: from leading the Learning & Development function at Girlguiding UK and developing its 100,000 volunteers, to heading up L&D across Uganda and Ghana for an international NGO.
Alongside this, I’ve partnered with organisations including Royal Mail, King, Tesco, the Open University and Deutsche Telekom — supporting leaders and teams through moments of change, growth and transition.
Alongside my consultancy work, I’m currently completing an Accredited Diploma in Coaching with the Animas Centre for Coaching. Coaching forms an increasingly important part of my approach — creating space for reflection, supporting practical experimentation, and helping new ways of working stick over time.
What runs through all of my work is a focus on behaviour: how people make decisions, respond under pressure, and build habits in real work contexts.
I hold a First Class degree from the University of Cambridge, an MA in Development and Social Change, and a CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Learning & Development.
OUR STORY
Make It Stick was born from a growing frustration with how change often shows up at work.

After years of working in learning, engagement and transformation roles, I kept seeing the same pattern: good intentions, thoughtful strategies and well-designed programmes — followed by very little changing in practice.

People weren’t resistant or disengaged. They were busy, under pressure, and unsupported once the initial intervention ended.

I started asking a different question:
what would it take for change to actually stick?

Make It Stick became my response to that question — a business built around the belief that behaviour change doesn’t happen by chance, but by giving people the space, support and permission to practise new ways of working.

OUR PURPOSE
To help change actually stick
OUR VIEWPOINT
We believe people do their best work when they have:
-
clarity about what really matters
-
the opportunity to practise and reflect
-
support as they build new habits over time
That belief underpins everything we do — whether we’re designing learning, partnering on transformation, or working one-to-one through coaching.
